Student Resources: Tutoring, Power Hour and Supplemental Chemistry Instruction

What You Need to Know

During the current emergency, please be advised that ALL face-to-face Power Hour sessions and on-campus peer tutoring services have been suspended. However, there are now several online or virtual options available.  Also, please remember that you can always contact your professors for direct assistance with any questions you may have.

Everyone participating in these online tutoring efforts wants to hear from you, so please do not hesitate to reach out to us if you have questions or need help!

Online Tutoring & Power Hour schedules can be found here.  Both schedules may be subject to change throughout the semester, but the schedules on this page will be updated if/when those changes occur.  Peer tutoring is currently available for Biology, Math, and Writing.  Likewise, help in Biology, Chemistry, Math, Nursing, Psychology, and Writing (just to name a few!) is also available through Power Hour.

Interested in writing help specifically?  Check out our new Writing Center page for more detailed information about the different types of peer tutor writing appointments available, links to schedule an appointment, and additional resources to help you develop your writing skills.

ADDITIONAL TUTORING is available through the Ohio Collaborative eTutoring Network. This network is a service that Kent State University takes part in, and tutoring is available in many different subject areas.

Instructions for accessing the e-Tutoring Online Network:

If it's your first time using e-Tutoring Online this semester, you will need to create an account by following these steps:
