Schedule of Columbiana Campus Power Hour: An hour of power with a faculty member

Columbiana County Campus Power Hour and Peer Tutoring

Power Hour is a Columbiana County Campus initiative to encourage interaction between Faculty and Students on the East Liverpool and Salem campuses of Kent State University. Students are encouraged to spend an hour learning from a faculty member. Coupled with our peer tutoring efforts, Power Hour can enhance student success.

Power Hour and Peer Tutoring Schedules

Currently, Power Hour will take place in-person, on-campus while Peer Tutoring will continue to be offered both in-person and virtually.

If you have any questions or concerns, especially if you would like find out about tutoring options available immediately, please contact Maegan Richards (mrichar4@kent.edu; 330-337-4211).

Please check back frequently as these schedules may change during the first few weeks of the semester as faculty and tutors set their schedules.

If you have any questions relating to Tutoring or Power Hour:

If you need help in a subject area outside of writing, please contact Maegan Richards (mrichar4@kent.edu).  She can work with you to find a peer tutor for another class or subject area at another KSU campus.  Many tutors throughout the University are still working remotely, so you may not need to drive to another campus to meet with a peer tutor!

For additional online tutoring options, please visit OhioLINK e-Tutoring. You will then need to set up an account by selecting the link "Need and Account"? After set-up, you will then be able to see what disciplines and schedules there are for tutoring.

  • Disclaimer: This eTutoring service is operated by OhioLINK and staffed by tutors from higher education institutions across the state of Ohio.

If you have any questions, please contact Maegan Richards (mrichar4@kent.edu).
